Cancellation, Lateness and Refund Policy for Appointments, Classes and Events
If you are experiencing any symptoms such as fever, cough, shortness of breath, chills, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell on the day of your appointment please reschedule your appointment.
Depending on the service or class/event full payment, deposit, or a credit card on file may be required at the time of booking, please review my office polices before booking an appointment. There are no refunds for deposits or purchased appointments, packages, or gift certificates however if you need to cancel your appointment and do so 24 hours before the appointment time you will be able to reschedule it to another date. Purchased packages must be used within six months of the purchase date. The card on file will be charged in the event of a no-show or last minute cancellation if not previously paid.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In our desire to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies are honored:
24 hour advance notice is required when cancelling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to give us 24 hours advance notice you will be charged the full amount of your appointment. If there is a card on file it will be charged, otherwise the amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment. If you have pre-paid it cannot be applied to another appointment.
No-shows
Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show.” They will be charged for their missed appointment. If you are unable to give us 24 hours advance notice you will be charged the full amount of your appointment. If you have a card on file it will be charged, if not, the amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment. If you have pre-paid it cannot be applied to another appointment.
Late Arrivals
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, your therapist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session. Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other customers, please plan accordingly and be on time.
Class Cancellation and Deposit Refund Policy
All class deposits are non-refundable. If you paid a deposit for a class and cannot attend and have cancelled 24 hours before the beginning of class your deposit may be applied to a future class here at the studio within 1 year. You will be given a voucher for the credit (similar to a gift certificate) that will need to be presented to be redeemed.
If you cancel without 24 hours notice before the beginning of class or are a no-show to a class your deposit cannot be refunded or applied to a future class.
If you have paid in full for a class and are a no-show your payment cannot be refunded or applied to a future class. If you have not paid in full for a class and are a no show your card on file will be charged for the missed class.
This policy is in fairness to all as class sizes are small and often have a wait list. Thank you for understanding.
***Please be aware that in the event of severe inclement weather the 24 hour cancellation policy is waived, please try to let the studio know as soon as possible if you will not be able to arrive safely and your appointment will be rescheduled as long as contact has been made by phone or e-mail. For no show, no calls the policy still remains the same***
